A practice, run as a business.
Aureum Wellness exists because two things rarely sit in the same company: people who can hold a room in silence, and people who can fill a seven night retreat and account for it afterwards. Doing one without the other produces either an empty schedule or a hollow one.
Rudra Nath.
Founder, Aureum Wellness · Meditation teacher and wellness strategist
A decade spent asking what it means to live well.
Rudra Nath’s path did not begin in a boardroom. It began in India, and it began in two places at once.
One was the body. An athlete through school, he became a professional fitness model and bodybuilder — first in India, later in the United States — and built a career on what the body could be made to do. The other was stillness. His meditation practice began in India years before it became his work: not discovered on a retreat, but grown up alongside.
For a time, the first eclipsed the second.
He worked in Bollywood in Mumbai, then moved to Hollywood. Los Angeles, 2015 — the same year his fitness work took him to the cover of Men’s Health. He performed on stage before audiences of thousands. He built a personal training practice, and in 2017 founded Aurora Health, a holistic health consultancy.
By every visible measure it was a decade spent on wellbeing. And something was missing from it.
He had been building the body, the discipline, the career, the appearance — everything that could be seen. What he had set aside was the part he had grown up with: the inner life, the contemplative dimension, the one thing that had never needed an audience.
That omission was the error, and recognising it was the turn. Wholeness was not going to arrive through optimisation. It required the piece he had left behind in India.
The years that followed took him back to it — meditation, yoga, Ayurveda and the contemplative traditions, studied properly rather than casually, while keeping one eye on what modern science was learning about longevity and recovery. Two disciplines that had run in parallel since childhood turned out never to have been separate.
Nor was the commercial instinct ever absent. In 2018, alongside the deepening practice, he co-founded HealthGO in Dubai — a healthy food brand launched with the Stallion Group, spanning protein bars, quinoa puffs, makhana and vacuum-fried snacks.
Today he sits in silence with twelve people in the Himalayas, having once performed for several thousand. He would tell you the smaller room is the harder one.
Meditation remains at the centre of the work. He teaches immersive meditation and silent retreats in the Himalayas, designs programmes in meditation, yoga and holistic wellbeing, guides private members in daily practice, and speaks in schools and boardrooms alike — because stillness is not a luxury reserved for people on retreat.
The problem was not a lack of beautiful places.
Aureum began with a simple intention: to create extraordinary spaces where people could return to themselves.
What started as a retreat company grew by observation. Rudra curated and hosted intimate retreats across India, then Bali, Thailand and Dubai, working closely with hotels, resorts and retreat properties. And in property after property, the same thing.
The rooms were exceptional. The architecture, the landscape, the spa, the pools, the yoga space, the restaurant — all of it in place.
And almost none of it connected.
No retreat calendar. No wellness philosophy. No reliable access to exceptional facilitators. Programming that existed as a series of activities rather than an experience. And no strategy for turning any of it into something guests came back for.
The problem was not a lack of beautiful places. It was a lack of wellness architecture.
That realisation became Aureum Wellness.
Every experience begins with four questions.
Who is this for?
What should they feel?
What should they experience?
What will they carry home?
Wellness is not measured by how many sessions a guest completes. It is measured by how they leave. More restored. More present. More themselves.
Designed with beauty. Guided by intention. Created for transformation.
Aureum is the work of a decade spent asking what it means to live well — and a continuing belief that the future of luxury hospitality lies not only in where people stay, but in who they become while they are there.
Our vision is to shape the next era of wellness hospitality.
Luxury has always been measured at the moment of arrival. We believe it should be measured at the moment of departure.
Aureum envisions a hospitality in which the world’s most exceptional places are not only destinations. They are turning points.
Places where beauty creates presence.
Where hospitality itself becomes restorative.
Where ancient wisdom and contemporary science are held in the same hand.
Where recovery is designed with the same precision the industry has always reserved for luxury.
Our ambition is not to participate in the global wellness movement. It is to help decide where it goes next.
We are building Aureum as a global platform for Sacred Luxury — partnering with exceptional hospitality brands, developing destination wellness ecosystems, creating transformative retreats, and reimagining how the world experiences wellbeing.
In the years ahead, Aureum will build a global network — luxury hotels and resorts, dedicated wellness centres, exceptional retreat destinations, Ayurvedic centres of excellence, and more than a hundred curated retreats a year.
But scale is not the ambition. It is only what makes the ambition possible — to bring deeper wellbeing into the places where the world comes to stay.
From resorts in the world’s most extraordinary landscapes, to dedicated centres for healing and longevity, Aureum builds ecosystems where hospitality, nature, science and ancient wisdom hold together.
We envision a world in which a luxury stay can restore the body, quiet the mind, widen awareness, and return a person to what matters.
Where wellness is no longer an amenity, it is the soul of the experience.
And where the finest hospitality is remembered not for how beautifully it received you, but for how profoundly it changed you.
AUREUM
Building the next generation of wellness hospitality.
Creating places that become turning points.
Why there are several names.
Aureum Wellness, Aureum Retreats, RASA and the Residency are one company doing separable jobs. Properties tend to need them in that order, and separating them means a property can buy the first without being sold the last.
Aureum Wellness
The consultancy, and the parent. Decides what a property's wellness offer should be before anyone builds it. Sells strategy, not sessions.
Aureum Retreats
The production arm. Turns the strategy into retreats that run on real dates with real facilitators and real guests.
RASA Retreats
The contemplative division, kept separate because silence work does not share a calendar well with anything louder, and because its method belongs to it.
The method is the throughline. Everything else is scheduling.
RASA, the four movements of release, awareness, surrender, and alignment, is the structure underneath every contemplative retreat we run. It also shapes how we build programmes that are not contemplative at all, because the same question applies to a longevity week or a couples retreat: what is the guest putting down, what are they noticing, where does it turn, and what do they carry out.
A retreat that cannot answer those four questions is a schedule of activities. Guests can tell the difference by day three, and they do not rebook.
Things we hold to.
We staff what we sell
Aureum does not hand a property a programme document and leave. If a retreat is on the calendar under our name, someone from our network is holding the room.
The property keeps its identity
We are not a brand to be franchised onto a lobby wall. The wellness identity we build belongs to the property and should read as theirs.
Small numbers, held properly
Contemplative retreats have a ceiling on group size past which the work stops being possible. We would rather run a retreat twice than run it once at double the count.
Start with a conversation.
If you run a property and something here matches what you are trying to build, tell us about the place. If you are a guest, the retreat pages are the better door.
